Our Immigration firm is looking for an Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant.
(Spanish Bilingual)
The law firm handles a variety of immigration cases, including but not limited to Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, Provisional Waivers, U-Visa, VAWA, DACA, SIJ, and Employment based cases. We represent clients before the Immigration Court, the BIA and various Circuit Courts. We also handle divorce, family law and criminal law.
Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant Job Description:
·Assisting attorneys and clients with the preparation and filing of applications, petitions, waivers, affidavits, etc., as well as correspondence with USCIS and Immigration Courts.
·The paralegal/Legal Assistant will work closely with attorneys in the preparation of evidentiary submissions filed with the USCIS, Immigration Court and Family Court.
· Assisting our attorneys with file organization, case preparation, tracking cases status, assisting in the management of attorney court appearances, calendars and client matters.
· Ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule, ability to multi-task.
· Knowledge of immigration courts, court procedures and USCIS procedures is preferred.
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
